The Annual Members’ Show features 58 artworks by Woman Made Made Gallery members from across the United Stales, India, Germany, Mexico and Bogota.
Rhonda Wheatley found jurying the Woman Made Gallery Members’ Show to be both inspiring and challenging, and she comments: “My aim was to choose compelling works that reflect the diversity of voices and talent among Woman Made’s membership. I selected a number of pieces immediately, as they appealed to my individual preferences and interests. But I thought it was important to attempt to extend myself beyond those works which I’m most readily drawn to. Thus, I took time, studying each work several times, individually and carefully. I opened up to each piece and found myself feeling moved by colors both bold and soft, by the artists; depth of ideas, and by beauty and irony. I was impressed by originality in the use of media and materials, by subtle intricacies, and by excellence in technical skill.”
