Woman Made Gallery is pleased to announce the Women’s Caucus for Art (WCA)’s national exhibition “From the Center: Now!”
‘From the Center: Now!’ was juried by feminist author and art historian Lucy Lippard. The exhibition’s theme is a play on words taking in account Lippard’s groundbreaking volume of feminist art criticism “From the Center.” This exhibition looks at both the history of women’s art and it’s current state as we move past the first decade of the 21st century.
“From the Center-Now!” Is held in conjunction with the Women’s Caucus for Art annual national Conference and Lifetime Achievement awards. The Women’s Caucus for Art is a national non-profit organization committed to expanding opportunities and recognition for women in the arts.
