CHICAGO — Woman Made Gallery (WMG) is pleased to present “The Project” with work by 20 artists, and solo shows by Maria Gaspar and Mary King. The exhibitions were up from September 9 to October 27, 2011 at WMG’s Milwaukee Avenue location.
“The Project” was an invitation to artists to submit work in any media that is interactive, interdisciplinary, and/or collaborative. Examples include Kay Westhues’ Well Stories, a project about our relationship with the water we drink; and a project about Human Trafficking by Witney Huber, in collaboration with David Follmer, and Elizabeth Moretti.
Exhibiting Artists: Joan Arbeiter, Indrani Ashe and Arum Prameshwari, Rachel Dawson, Hope Esser, Heather Freeman, Terra Fuller in collaboration with David Follmer and Elizabeth Moretti, Whitney Huber, Elena Katsulis and Erin Peisert, Marjorie Kouns, Lily Mayfield and Jesse Ruff, Lin Shook-Perceptual Motion, Hyun Ji Sim, Pat Swanson, Georgia Wall, Kay Westhues.
