I lost my mom in 2010 to cancer. She left behind myself and my 5 siblings. The absolute worse day of my life. There could be no better mom than “Dorothy M. Pitts”. I carried her with me in mind and heart when she was living and continue to now that her physical body is no longer here which gives me comfort and forever memories. I created “Gone, But Here”, the only painting I have ever painted that was not bright, bold colors. It symbolizes her passing and the fact that she is forever here in my heart.
