A reflective observation of the landscape has encouraged me to investigate the subject of the represented site and its potential allusion to vision, intuition and retrieval. Here, shifting relationships between sky, water and land are closely observed. Built up through layers of oil, wax and pigment memories of form, shadow, atmosphere, and texture are transformed into that which is visible.
