ARTIST STATEMENT
I was enraged when I heard about the Roe vs Wade decision to overturn woman’s right to abortion. Although I am not American, or residing there, I and many friends noted that this was a dark day for women all around the world. I am honored to be showing in this radical exhibition which is fighting back against the patriarchal government. I hope that seeing female artists from another continent being passionate about this subject and willing to make and send their art to another side of the world, will show that the affects of Roe vs Wade aren’t just felt by American women, but by women all over the world.
