I’m extremely fortunate to have been able to stay home throughout the pandemic. However, isolation at home can work on one’s psyche, even when home is a safe haven from the world. It’s still possible to feel loneliness while surrounded by the ones we love.
Although created before 2020 the mixed emotions I believe most of us have felt, are reflected here.
The uncertainty as the world closes in on us amidst the isolation from friends and wondering each time we go out, if we’re risking our health or the health of loved ones. The weird experience of looking at everyone outside as a possible threat to our safety weighs heavy.
