When I think about cast iron, I think these molecules may have been around since the formation of the planet, and I make forms that seem to me to embody the mass of molten, flowing, compressing, and hardening core of the earth. Copper, on the other hand, reminds me of the softer, cooler, more aquatic side of the world, and I use it to portray water and its role in the life of our world.
