float glass, high fire enamel, found window
23 x 31 x 3 in.
The window to me references home and body. The glass inside is a transparent membrane on which I can portray my feelings about the trials that women face when choosing to have a family or not.
The window symbolizes the keyhole or point of entry that the viewers use to look into these fears. It frames the image within it but at the same time allows the viewer to look deeper within and beyond the frame of reference.
