Mackenzie Madison
Mackenzie Madison’s work reflects on the harm caused to humans and the earth in relation to contemporary sociological and environmental issues. Through multiple mediums, she investigates these relationships through both the materials and the depicted subject matter. These inquiries are pertinent in present-day dialogues given the state of climate-related concerns as well as the impact on society.
Within these discussions, feelings of powerlessness coincide with an awareness of the monumental actions that must occur to provoke meaningful change in a positive direction. Her goal is to examine these emotions while inspiring viewers to think critically about how their actions affect both nature and their community.
