My love of gardening and flowers motivated me to take photographs of flowers. My entry into digital manipulation of my photographs made me step back and come up with the idea of explaining and depicting the name of the flower in the work. That’s how this series of work acquired its name: What’s in a Name.

Sometimes one has to look hard to see the pictures indicating the name of the flower. Childhood memories of looking for the hidden pictures in the hidden picture page in the Highlights magazine probably influenced this.
