ARTIST STATEMENT
The Self-Love Project exhibits how we cultivate self-love through various yoga poses and expressions. Through body language we express self-love. Self-Love is a journey through self-discovery; creating an experience with our true self on a deeper level.
At its core, the self-love project wants to encourage anyone who suffers from low self-esteem, depression, and anxiety that we have the power within us to connect and heal ourselves through self-love.
Through yoga we can explore self-love through our mind and emotions to find a more loving way to be comfortable in our own skin. The process of releasing the many layers of unconscious critical self-talk can take time, so be kind to yourself during your exploration of self-love.
The Self-Love Project promotes self-love and self-care by helping you realize that you already have everything you need inside of you. The deeper you dive into the practice of self-love, the more you are directed to accept and love who you are.
Ultimately, the goal is to make self-love a priority every single day. The Self-Love Project will engage us all to embody love and share love. It all starts by loving yourself first.
