I am interested in how much “womanhood” we have to adorn ourselves with throughout life — why the woman’s suitcase is always perceived to be so much bigger and more burdensome at the beginning of a journey. Sometimes it seems the more we adorn ourselves with artificial, material objects to make us beautiful, the more we are simultaneously being encouraged to destroy our natural organic simplicity.
