“As a fine art photographer, my work explores feminine identity and the passage of time. I teach painting and photography at the Chicago Park District. Living in quarantine for the past two months, I have been working in watercolor to explore my experience of living through a pandemic.
First, I made a picture of my ideal room to be quarantined in. This project was started in Paris with the website CoronaMaison.fun. Then, I made a painting of my back porch where I go to sit and get some air. I was surprised to learn that in different cities people were angrily protesting the “Stay at Home” order. ”
