Trauma can be physical and emotional. Unfortunately for me the trauma I have experienced has been mostly emotional that has then resulted in physical trauma. From the emotional abuses suffered during my marriage and subsequent dating life, including but not limited to acquaintance rape, my physical body suffered. These stressors have claimed several internal organs and a good portion of brain cells and a lot of self-esteem.
