I am the daughter of a holocaust survivor. My family’s history, on both sides, was marked by discontinuity, isolation, and fear. My childhood and adolescent years were filled with themes of violence and anguish. My pool of imagery speaks to my own life experiences, bridging the personal with the social and the political. This piece refers to personal instances of violation.
