I have been working on this series of work for eight years. Inspired by my love of “People Watching” this series represent people in an abstract but somehow realistic way. The pieces in the “People Totem” series are hand woven on a tapestry loom using fabric and found objects. They are called “People Totems” because none of the figures have arms and they have the same proportion as a totem pole.
