Freight trucks and cars have become iconic images that represent my father coasting through a dream-like landscape littered with images from my own personal mythology. Combining hard-edge industrial images of cars, distilled memories, with gestural mark-making and feminine patterning, my work seeks to fuse everyday city life with and emotional, internal world of memory, dreams, hope, fears and anxiety.
