Easter Sunday on the Porch (1996)
24 x 24 in.

Home is where I cull through old family photographs, treasured china and old teapots to define my relationship to the past, present, and future. These objects anchor me in my soul, and give me a sense of belonging. I become the continuation of my ancestors when I handle and work with items they once owned and used.
