“As an artist and writer, I feel that all we see and do in life is worthy of some form of documentation.

Ultimately, as with photography, when it comes to collage, I am drawn to the grace of nature, and all other subject matter. I am keenly aware of the simple refinement in the compositions I create. We are always in a state of transition, and all of life is ephemeral. Creating a unique scene, or discovering something very simple, yet distinctive in my mind’s eye, reminds me that there is value and worth in everything.”

In these stressful times when many of us are in quarantine, home has become office, classroom and playground and studio. Our emotional responses about this change are reflected in the art we create, it is inevitable. For many, this has changed the way we look at our homes. We may even have changed our homes with a coat of paint, a new desk, by making a small bedroom into an office, etc. These changes will last. For better or worse, our homes will reflect what has come… long after it has gone again.”
