Remembering Little Gretel
fiber, paint, paper, misc.
At ten years old, I lost my mother, father, and little sister in a car accident. Five surviving siblings were never allowed to mourn, grieve or discuss our tragedy. Fifty years later, after creating a series of art pieces, unacknowledged grief and pent up emotion have been allowed to surge forth from the very depths and core of my soul.
