Don’t Ever Try to Change Anyone
felt, cotton (felting, batik, embroidery) batik, embroidery
21 x 21 in.
I draw on black fabric with melted wax, bleach the fabric, then fill in with lines of embroidery thread, beads, sequins, appliqué. Sometimes I make felt to serve as the foundation on which to appliqué, stitch and quilt.
“Don’t Ever Try To Change Anyone” is based on the best advice my mother ever gave me.
