“The Creation of a Painting from Within”

I am learning to trust in my own vision. I believe that deep within oneself is inspiration that wants to be set free. It has taken me a very long time to have the faith to let it freely come out, no external set up to copy, no pictures to work from, no pre-sketches, just a belief in my love of beauty that I have absorbed during my life as an artist, and trust that it will materialize through me onto my canvas.

This work reminds us of the fragility of our urban environment, our earth and oceans and the ever changing climate dew to global warming. Each painting also shows a small symbol of hope. We are all the care takers of our precious earth and we must continually fight for her survival.

The key is my signature, a reminder of new doors and opportunities opening, if we just stop and take a moment to see them, and have courage to act upon them.
