With in my work, I explore the relationship between capitalism, the environment and one’s community. Through the lens of bio-regional ethics and postmodern environmentalism, I consider the interdependence between people and the environment. I seek to uncover the modern connection and disconnection people have to their surrounding landscape as I rethink ‘progress’. Through the minimalist aesthetics of my work, I articulate the complexity and range of the public’s relationship with their surrounding landscape.
