In mid-2010, Woman Made Gallery proudly presented a group exhibition by 34 women artists, whose work challenged the boundaries of traditional handprint media, including intaglio, lithography, relief, monoprint and silkscreen. While all the works exhibited had been created within the printmaking medium, there was no limitation to the variety of style and content shown by each artist’s creations. “Printmaking” aimed to present the scope and variety of work that is inspired, instead of limited, by the printmaking medium.
