In 2012, I visited Bali.  I returned to a Wisconsin on the brink of spring and recognized Bali’s culture of life right here in the Midwest.  That crazy and beautiful everythingtogetherallatonce.  It happens everywhere.  The constant growing and decay, the weather swings, spiritual longings, traffic and trash, the lushness and mud, music and havoc, creatures and machines, forests of trees and radio towers, humans and other worldly beings.  O, this world.  O, the stories.  Painting is a campfire we all gather ‘round.
