ARTIST STATEMENT
Nina is currently questioning her belief in artist statements. This is not to be ungrateful or to dismiss all the work that goes into being an artist, but summarizing art practice by listing themes and places she’s exhibited is something she is currently exploring and deconstructing. Everyone makes art and everyone is creative and we should aim to live in a world where we all have the time and space to be artists. Art is a way of seeing, knowing, playing, ritualizing and pausing— and anyone can do it in their own way.
