Yin & Yang II

Just as the world consists of opposing forces, I have realized that both good and evil exist within myself. In oriental philosophy, such contrariness is represented in the concepts of Yin and Yang. I would like to incorporate the harmony of Yin and Yang into my work to make it complete.

In my current work I have adopted simple geometric shapes. I believe that all forms can be derived from rectangles and circles, which are made with straight lines and curves. This is the major component of my work: rectangles and circles are combined in different ways to create variation and harmony in my sculpture, embodying the co-existence of Yin and Yang.
