The motifs and ideas of my recent work are based on the seed. Some are longitudinal sections through a seed, embryo or nut while others are exterior views of seeds, partial or whole.

I use handmade paper, pigment and wax, which I apply in layers. I build up and tear down the surface texture creating an illusion of depth, earth and the cosmos.
