I am a self-taught artist who presents within my artwork statements which characterize my personal view of the turmoil within our global society. The use of acrylic paint placed on canvas in thin glazes is to build color and strange creatures are used to accentuate the message. My emotional distress, both personally and for society overall come from my own battle with post-traumatic stress disorder. Although my work rarely portrays hope, I am optimistic about our greater spiritual nature. Through my own meditation and philosophical quest, I look forward to broadening my artistic message.
