I am an artist and educator curious about feminist empowerment and the human body. My work takes my personal body as a subject, one that is intrinsically linked to the objectified female. I am interested in navigating socially constructed assumptions around sex and the nudes’ political history with my own history and materiality. Through movement and selectively layering, drawing, painting & erasing the forms, I look to work against the power that sex holds, empowering my own sexuality and its reflexive experience, inspired by the works of Judith Butler, Audre Lorde and Sara Ahmed.
