To Rub, Press, Knead, Touch is my new daily practice series, started as a means to structure days in the endless sea of quarantine, and to think deeply about touch and its presence/absence. Each day I enact an action (usually on paper, from title list), utilizing my interior surroundings and what I have at hand. I take inspiration and direction from my actions and feelings over the course of the day. As the days pass, the drawings accumulate, allowing for multiple ways to track time, even as time begins to become meaningless.
