My work deals with the construction of personal narratives that amplify human melodrama. In the interests revolving around love and misery, I let my own vulnerability become exposed. Representative of people and happenings in my life, I find myself composing a parallel fantasy environment where my everyday human counterparts become characters that reside and evolve within this landscape.

The visual experience is based in the phenomenon of cute culture and kitsch sensibility, accompanied by a maximalist approach that produces a personal mythology.
