There is profound beauty in the moment. I often use black and white film when creating a portrait. The viewer is not distracted by color. Rather the quiet of black and white allows the persona of the subject to come through. I find a delightful and moving beauty in that subtlety in that clear presentation of the self. It is that I look to capture in my images.
