Clay has been a constant in my life, both as an artist or researcher. Through clay, I like to express my ideas – sometimes stories that are derived from life experiences or travels. Most recently, I lived and worked in Mongolia for ten years and was the first American artist to exhibit at the Mongolian National Art Gallery with a small group of woman on International Women’s Day. Clay is a medium that connects all people like a thread, both globally and historically for it is found everywhere.
