I create abstract paintings and assemblage constructions using the strategies of layering, fragmentation and reduction.
In my work, I blur the relationships between architecture, landscape and the body. In my desire for a timeless expression both aesthetically and emotionally, I constantly mine the seam between what is primitive and what is modern.

I want the viewer to see the evidence of my labor. I believe that we can reconnect to our humanity by experiencing artworks that are obviously made by hand.
