People are emotional beings. Our life experiences can take us from feeling exhilarated, to the depths of despair, sometimes in one day.

As an artist, one of my passions is to evoke emotions. I don’t want my viewers to simply observe my art, I want them to be immersed in it. Whether I’m working with charcoal, paint or ink, my process is the same. I start with my camera, using myself as the model. Then I simply create what’s in my mind.

Hemingway said, “It’s easy to write, all writers have to do is bleed onto the page.” He could’ve said the same about visual artists. I believe every person should have the freedom to get in touch with their emotions. I create art that will help people do
just that.
