Return of the Bonsai

My work comprises repeated images of bird, bonsai and goddess, rendered in a realist style combined with eastern qualities and elements. The dynamics and relationships between each of these are explored in situations where often nature is vulnerable or uncertain. Ultimately the work is about the hopeful forces, especially those that thrive to maintain connections no matter how fragile. Nature, a spiritual practice and a validation of the feminine principle are some of the options available for healing, recovery and hope.
