Grounded in an intuitive, meditative process, my paintings seek to explore the matter and energy that make up form. The energy is defined through shapes, patterns and the space they inhabit. Sensitive to the stunning urban landscape that surrounds me in Chicago, the scintillating patterns of the waters of the Chicago river reflected in the geometric, glass high-rise building never fail to resonate so deeply, I get goose-bumps as I sense the esoteric connection between all things.
