The work submitted here is born out of frustration and anger with the current political situation we have found ourselves in since the election of Donald Trump. After creating protest art from the US Constitution and shredded money last year, I refocused my attention to the marches in which I was participating.

Using stretcher bars makes the perfect loom. I work to create an overall message that resonates through every weft of paper –through color and phrases. The goal of this work is to be at once documentation of current events and a call to action.
