This work tells the story of my struggle to understand and cope with my mother’s mental illness. Photographs of myself in states of staged death are stapled to Xeroxed imagery and combined with text. Childhood memories of my mother’s behavior are contrasted with that of present-day. Feelings of anger, guilt, sorrow and helplessness are revealed.
