My goal is to evoke emotion or a thoughtful reaction from the viewer. Memories, dreams, images from daily life plus world events—all influence my thoughts and what I strive to show the viewer.

I’ve always had strong views about politics and issues but only in the last three years have I been able to visualize my feelings in those areas. My work is becoming more abstract with vibrant color and texture combined with handmade and other papers in mixed-media collage.
