I use autobiographical experience to dig up and make sense of lessons in navigating relationships, particularly the dynamics of high-demand groups or narcissistic / codependent relationships fueled by spiritual idealism and the denial of self. I’m interested in these social structures on both a small and large scale and using fiber forms to portray the difficult questions we face, inner turmoil, loss and growth as we navigate the dark sides of the cultural ideals of selflessness, generosity, and friendship.
