These pictures represent not a personal trauma, but a global trauma that I can strongly relate to. There is an edge to the world today, and in the United States that affects each of us strongly. Particularly after 9-11 and into the Iraq War, we as a nation have entered into a precarious time of uncertainty and of unwarranted violence. These events have shaped each of us in a deeply personal way.

In these pictures, I have stolen the headlines of newspapers and put my marks on them to further illustrate and personalize the trauma of the times.
