My artwork provides me with a vehicle to tell my story to others as well as to see it for myself. The story becomes complete in itself, carrying its own life force. Art always has given the artist an opportunity to tell his or her story in whatever way the artist chooses to express it. Life is about stories. Our collective stories are our histories. Our beliefs, our culture, our religion, and our awaremness of our consciousness form our stories and are derived from them. I like to think of my work as a visual experience that can be a catalyst in the transformation of perception.
The work is a portal that enables a viewer to explore the magic and to create or venture upon a story of his or her own. Our stories are for all to explore; my art work is just the pathway for the possibilities of spiritual transformation and endless stories.
