The body of my work relates to containers and containment. It’s about looking into, looking out from ad looking through. Memories are a type of container for me: a vessel for holding human emoition and memory. Windows can draw us into or can block us out of the ultimate container – the past. Dilapitated structures become metaphorical. Human existance dwells and passes through, using and holding onto objects which then aare left behind. These abandoned structures and their relics become receptacles, plugging us into the energy of our past and casting the light of our future.
