I use my artistic voice to speak about current times, addressing issues close to my heart while creating beautiful art for someone.
I use my fabrics as metaphors to address the environmental damage caused by the textile and fashion industries. Texture, color & pattern are my tools. Architecture and menswear fabrics are my inspiration. My handwoven fabrics combine myriad colors with proprietary designs available from complex weaves.
Disrupting my fabric’s natural order by cutting it to create something new is simultaneously exhilarating and scary. I achieve a kaleidoscope of intersecting designs and patterns. The pieces delight from afar yet reveal new intricacies upon closer inspection.
