Claire Stringer graduated from The School of the Museum of Fine Art Boston in 2000. She currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. In her work, Claire combines flat, bright elements and the use of text from the influences of media and advertising to portray images from the inner mind. These works deal largely with issues of femininity sexuality, and longing in a humorous, if somewhat deadpan, manner.
