I’m an artist that lives in the twin cities. I’m American Indian and Norwegian — my father was born on the White Earth Reservation, and my grandmother came from Norway. I have been focusing on paintings that tie both heritages. It’s been a collaboration of loosely based designs inspired by American Indian beading and bright colors and animals that would be incorporated into Norwegian design. I’m a huge advocate for the environment so everything is painted on recycled wood or recycled paintings.
