Memory, and the physical residue that exists from experiential situations, intrigue me. Time has played a major role in my work, often being the primary source of residue. My role has varied dependant upon the needs of the materials/entities. I question at times the degree to which my involvement is physically necessary to create the work. Often interactions exist on their own terms, changing my role to mediator. Physically positioning entities together, where through time they evolve on their own terms, the results are a pure residue of their interaction.
